NoteBeeZ AI, Veterinary, and Operational Disclaimer

Effective date: 28 August 2026
Version: 2026-08-28

This Disclaimer applies to every NoteBeeZ transcript, extracted record, summary, assistant response, risk flag, quality index, chart, forecast, reminder, and suggested task (Output). It supplements the Terms of Service. If mandatory law conflicts with this Disclaimer, mandatory law prevails.

1. Organizational tool only

NoteBeeZ helps users organize observations and work. Output is informational and may be incomplete, delayed, wrongly attributed, outdated, internally inconsistent, or factually incorrect. A fluent or confident answer is not evidence that it is correct.

Output is not:

2. AI can make serious mistakes

Speech recognition may confuse hive numbers, apiary names, dates, quantities, units, negatives, treatment names, active substances, batch numbers, costs, and withdrawal periods. Generative AI can invent facts or citations, merge unrelated records, omit warnings, or suggest an action that is unsuitable for the colony, season, jurisdiction, label, or current professional guidance.

The app uses bounded context based on the user's authorized scope, so the model may not see information outside that scope even when it would change the answer. It also has no reliable access to real-time weather, current law, current product authorization, laboratory results, or the physical colony unless an expressly connected and verified source says otherwise.

3. Mandatory human review

Before saving or acting on Output, a competent user must:

  1. listen to or compare the source observation where available;
  2. verify the organization, apiary, hive, queen, date, time zone, quantity, unit, price, and record type;
  3. correct every uncertain or unparsed field;
  4. physically assess the colony and surrounding conditions;
  5. read the current manufacturer label, package leaflet, authorization, safety data, and official guidance;
  6. verify dosage, administration route, contraindications, withdrawal period, residue limits, protective equipment, storage, disposal, and local reporting duties; and
  7. consult a licensed veterinarian, competent authority, laboratory, tax adviser, lawyer, or other qualified professional where the issue is material or uncertain.

An AI draft does not become a production diary entry or task merely because it is displayed. NoteBeeZ requires user review before acceptance. That safeguard reduces risk but does not make accepted content correct.

4. Animal health, treatments, and regulated products

Diseases, poisoning, invasive pests, treatment resistance, residues, and notifiable conditions can require urgent or jurisdiction-specific action. Do not use NoteBeeZ to select, dose, combine, administer, or discontinue a veterinary medicine, biocide, pesticide, feed, or chemical without checking the current legally binding instructions and obtaining professional advice where required.

Product authorization, permitted active substances, maximum residue limits, treatment windows, and withdrawal periods vary by country and can change. A historical diary record or AI response does not establish that a use is currently lawful. Users are solely responsible for maintaining any official records and making notifications required by the competent authority.

If colonies show sudden death, suspected poisoning, severe disease, aggressive behavior creating an immediate public risk, fire, chemical exposure, or another emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service, veterinarian, poison or environmental authority, fire service, or local competent authority. Do not wait for an app response or reminder.

5. Analytics and risk indicators

Risk flags and indices are operational heuristics derived from entered data. Missing, stale, incorrectly dated, or differently scoped records can materially change them. A low displayed risk does not mean a colony is healthy or compliant; a high risk does not establish disease or fault. Comparisons are not scientific studies and should not be used to rank workers, determine employment consequences, establish insurance facts, or make automated legal decisions.

6. Calendar and reminders

Notifications and Google Calendar events can fail, duplicate, arrive late, use an unexpected time zone, or disappear after permissions, battery settings, provider state, assignment, or subscription changes. Maintain an independent method for safety-critical treatment dates, withdrawal periods, inspections, feeding, queen events, legal reporting, and other deadlines.

7. Your records and backups

Users are responsible for accurate source data and for exporting records often enough for their operational and legal needs. Local device failure, deletion, loss, theft, corruption, provider outage, access revocation, or user error may make data unavailable. A cloud subscription is not a regulated archival, disaster-recovery, evidentiary, or business-continuity service.

8. No additional warranties

Mandatory consumer rights and liability that cannot lawfully be excluded remain fully effective. Subject to them, Bad Luck Studios e.U. makes no additional warranty that Output is accurate, complete, timely, safe, legally compliant, fit for a professional purpose, or accepted by a veterinarian, authority, insurer, certifier, auditor, court, customer, or trading partner.

The liability provisions in the Terms of Service apply. Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes liability for intent, legally non-excludable gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by fault, fraud, mandatory product liability, or another liability that applicable law prohibits us from limiting.

9. Report a dangerous output

Do not act on an Output you believe is dangerous. For a displayed Cloud AI transcript, draft suggestion, or assistant answer, use Report AI content inside NoteBeeZ. Choose the closest reason and review the disclosure before confirming. The in-app report sends only the category and an opaque reference to the existing output; it does not make a new copy of the text, prompt, source record, photo, or audio.

The report is not monitored as an emergency channel and does not guarantee an individual response, removal, correction, or professional review. For an immediate animal-welfare or public-safety risk, contact the appropriate veterinarian, authority, or emergency service. If the in-app action is unavailable or you need ordinary support, email notebeez@badluckstudios.com with the app version, general workflow, report reference if shown, and redacted error details. Do not email passwords, sign-in links, access tokens, full exports, unnecessary personal data, or confidential diary content.

This document is general risk disclosure, not legal or veterinary advice. Qualified Austrian/EU counsel and appropriate beekeeping/veterinary specialists should review the final production wording and supported jurisdictions before launch.
