NoteBeeZ Subscription Terms
Effective date: 4 September 2026
Version: 2026-09-04
These Subscription Terms supplement the NoteBeeZ Terms of Service. They apply to subscriptions purchased through Google Play. If a checkout disclosure or mandatory law gives you a more favorable right, that right prevails.
1. Free download and subscription access
NoteBeeZ is free to download and may show a read-only product preview. Normal additive use requires registration, an active organization membership, and an active organization entitlement. Subscription functionality includes creating and non-deletion editing, offline-capable field entry, import/restore, uploading or synchronizing new/non-deletion-updated content, organization-setting changes, adding or expanding team/assignment access, AI and analytics, media upload, QR access expansion/token mutation, and Calendar connection/selection/event sync. Subject to authentication, role, scope, and safety checks, existing supported records remain readable and exportable after entitlement ends. Safety reporting/moderation; authorized photo and voice-draft deletion; confirmed local-diary, account, and organization deletion; moderation removal; pending-invitation revocation, member suspension/removal/permission reduction, and assignment revocation; QR-request denial/read resolution; Calendar disconnect/task unsync; safe server-version conflict acceptance; legal documents; purchase/restore controls; and account security remain reachable. Historical records remain correction-first rather than generally deletable from the app.
The NoteBeeZ Premium plan provides functional access and sustained cloud services during the subscription period, including offline-capable diary entry, supported multi-device synchronization, organization and role management, private cloud media, team access, subscription-backed AI allowances, and optional Google Calendar synchronization. Unless a different limit is conspicuously disclosed in the app or the Google Play offer before purchase, the current plan provides one owner organization with up to five reserved seats in total (active members plus unexpired invitations, including the owner), 250 hives, 5,368,709,120 bytes of private retained photo/audio media capacity (displayed as 5.0 GB), 60 minutes of AI voice processing, and 300 AI text-extraction or assistant requests per monthly usage period. These are the current default service limits, not immutable lifetime limits; Section 9 governs lawful changes for future periods and any notice or remedy required.
The production implementation supports one subscription product, internally identified as notebeez_premium, with monthly and yearly automatically renewing base plans. The user-facing offer is the localized offer shown by Google Play.
2. Who buys and who receives access
The organization owner purchases the subscription and binds it to that owner and organization using a pseudonymous Play account identifier. The Worker independently verifies the purchase with Google before granting entitlement.
Authorized organization members inherit the organization's entitlement while their membership and assignment remain active. They do not own the purchase, cannot transfer it, and do not obtain a separate billing relationship merely because they receive team access. Changing or deleting a member does not cancel the owner's subscription.
Bad Luck Studios e.U. may grant a narrowly scoped, time-bounded server-side entitlement for app-store review, support, or correction. Such access is not a client-side bypass, is not a Google Play purchase, has no cash or refund value, creates no automatic renewal, and may expire or be revoked when its stated purpose ends.
One purchase must not be attached to unrelated organizations or resold. Pending, unacknowledged beyond the allowed window, refunded, revoked, expired, fraudulent, package-mismatched, product-mismatched, or account-binding-mismatched purchases do not grant paid access.
3. Price, period, and taxes
Before the order is placed, Google Play displays the exact localized total price to be charged, currency, billing period, applicable tax treatment, base plan, offer phases, trial or introductory price if any, and the date or conditions of the first and later charges. Those checkout disclosures form part of the agreement.
No price written in a website example, screenshot, marketing draft, or support message overrides the live Google Play purchase screen. A yearly plan must be understood by its total yearly charge, even if an informational monthly equivalent is also displayed.
Data access, internet access, and third-party charges imposed by a telecommunications provider are not included.
4. Automatic renewal
Unless the Google Play offer is expressly identified as prepaid or non-renewing, the subscription continues for an indefinite term and automatically renews for the selected period. Google Play charges the payment method linked to the purchasing Google account at the start of each new billing period unless renewal is cancelled before Google processes the charge.
The app will not describe a trial as free without also showing the duration, the price and period after the trial, and how to cancel. A trial or introductory offer exists only if Google Play shows it to that user and confirms eligibility. Eligibility and repetition are controlled by the configured Play offer and applicable rules.
5. Managing and cancelling
The app provides access to Google Play subscription management. You can also manage the subscription at https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions while signed into the Google account that made the purchase.
Cancellation normally stops the next automatic renewal. Paid access ordinarily continues until the end of the already-paid period. Uninstalling NoteBeeZ, clearing app data, signing out, leaving an organization, or deleting a non-owner account does not cancel the subscription.
Organization deletion is designed to request cancellation of future renewal before the organization becomes inaccessible. If provider cancellation cannot be confirmed, the delete operation returns an error instead of silently proceeding. The buyer should always verify the resulting status directly in Google Play.
6. Plan changes
If Google Play offers a switch between monthly and yearly plans, the app sends the selected old purchase token and the replacement mode supported by Google Play. Google displays the effective date and any proration, credit, deferred replacement, or immediate charge before confirmation. The live Play disclosure controls the financial effect.
A plan change is complete only after Google confirms the new purchase and the Worker verifies and binds it. Do not assume a plan changed merely because a button was pressed or a network request began.
7. Grace period, account hold, pause, expiry, and restore
Google Play may provide a grace period or account hold after a renewal-payment problem if enabled for the production base plan. It may also provide pause where configured. Availability, duration, recovery, and customer notices are controlled by the current Play settings and applicable law.
NoteBeeZ grants additive subscription actions only while a provider-verified entitlement remains active through its paid expiry, while Google Play currently reports a provider-verified grace state, or while an express time-bounded server entitlement remains current. On pause, hold, expiry, revocation, or an unverifiable state, NoteBeeZ restricts creation, non-deletion editing, import/restore, upload or synchronization of new/non-deletion-updated content, organization-setting changes, access expansion, AI/analytics, media upload, and Calendar/QR creation actions. Subject to ordinary authorization, supported existing records remain readable and exportable. The remaining controls are safety reporting/moderation; authorized photo/voice-draft deletion; confirmed local-diary/account/organization deletion; moderation removal; pending-invitation revocation, member suspension/removal/permission reduction, and assignment revocation; QR-request denial/read resolution; Calendar disconnect/task unsync; and safe server-version conflict acceptance.
The Restore purchases action asks Google Play for purchases associated with the currently signed-in Play account and submits eligible purchases for server verification. Restore cannot move a purchase to an unauthorized account or organization and cannot restore a purchase that Google reports as expired, refunded, revoked, or mismatched.
8. Refunds and statutory rights
Google Play provides the checkout and payment channel and may process refund requests under its policies. Refund availability depends on timing, country, purchase state, and applicable law. A cancellation normally does not refund the current period, but some countries or circumstances provide a different result.
Nothing in these Subscription Terms excludes statutory consumer rights. EEA consumers may have a 14-day withdrawal right for a distance contract, subject to the rules and exceptions for digital services and performance begun at the consumer's request. Where legally required, a request for immediate performance and any acknowledgement concerning withdrawal must be collected separately and clearly; a clause hidden in these Terms is not treated as that express request.
To seek withdrawal or a refund, use the Google Play order and refund flow where available and/or email notebeez@badluckstudios.com with the minimum order information needed to locate the transaction. Do not send a payment-card number, password, magic link, access token, or raw Play purchase token. We may direct a request to Google where Google controls the transaction workflow, but we will not use platform routing to remove a mandatory right.
If a digital service is not in conformity, consumers may have mandatory rights to restoration of conformity, price reduction, termination, or reimbursement. Contact us promptly with the app version, subscription state shown, and redacted error details.
9. Changes to price or benefits
Google Play handles notices and acceptance required for subscription price changes. A new price applies only in accordance with the notice, acceptance, cancellation, and effective-date rules shown by Play and required by law.
Bad Luck Studios e.U. may improve, replace, or discontinue features for legitimate security, legal, provider, technical, or commercial reasons. We will not intentionally remove the essential recurring value of a paid plan merely to convert it into a one-time benefit. If a material adverse change affects a current paid period, we will provide the notice or remedy required by mandatory law.
Plan limits may change for future periods after notice. A limit shown and accepted for a current paid period will not be retroactively reduced merely to avoid delivering the purchased recurring service, except where necessary for security, legal compliance, provider restrictions, or preventing abuse and where lawful remedies remain available.
10. Failed, duplicate, and unauthorized purchases
Pending transactions grant no entitlement until Google marks them purchased and the Worker verifies them. Google may decline, reverse, refund, or revoke a transaction. NoteBeeZ may reject a token that was already used, belongs to another package/product/account binding, or cannot be verified with the Android Publisher API.
If you believe there is a duplicate or unauthorized charge, do not publish order or token details. Review the Google Play order history and contact Google Play or notebeez@badluckstudios.com. We may ask for a redacted order identifier and the purchasing Google account's non-sensitive email only where needed to investigate.
11. Data after cancellation
Cancellation does not delete an account, organization, local diary, cloud content, or export. The Account and Data Deletion page describes separate deletion steps.
After entitlement ends, supported existing records remain intended to be locally readable and exportable, but the Service is not a perpetual free cloud archive. Paid cloud operations may stop. Export important records before losing device access or deleting the organization. The current app does not support transferring organization ownership.
12. Provider and contact

Google Play is an independent platform and payment-channel provider. Google Play terms also apply to the Google account and transaction flow; they do not replace the agreement between the user and Bad Luck Studios e.U. for delivery of NoteBeeZ service functionality.

14. Official Play information
Google explains cancellation and subscription management at Google Play Help. The live Google Play checkout and receipt remain the authoritative source for the individual price and period.
